Our old play house could need a cote of paint too... but thats a later project!

What we did most of the weekend

Lucky for me its a small house and not very high, I actually stood on the ladder myself when we painted! Was just a little scary...

Convallaria majalis

Spring is defenetly here, though this is from two weeks ago.

Bed room

Boring, right? This is probably the biggest challange. door on one wall, windows on two walls, just over 3 by 3,5 meters big... We need to fit; wardrobe space, some extra storage for tablecloths and linnen etc and a place for us to sleep. Preferebly a bigger bed than this one, which is 120cm wide. Some planing (and colour) needed!!!

Living room

The rest of the room with the fireplace... This room also had whit lace curtains covering the windows before. The wite drop-leaf table was made by my grandpa, don't know where to keep it and I don't want to get rid of it either. SO for now it just stands in the way ;)

Fire place

This is the fire place in the cottage, as oversized as the chimny. It's sitting in the "corner room/living room". A room that is just under 2,5 by 2,5 meters...

Storage?

These 30cm deep kitchen cabinets are the only storage in the cottage except fore the sofa on the veranda and a small teak-cabinet in the bedroom (which is filled with glasses, bowls and tablecloths...)

What do you think of my "installation" on the table ;)

Lace curtains are gone, and I raised the lamp in the seling about 50 cm and suddenly you can see out the windows! One step in the right direction!

The veranda

A before picture. The table is new, but temporary untill I find the perfect table. The sofa is perfekt for keeping a lot of stuff like extra blancets or linnen, and it stretches out into a bed if necessary =) The pillows where made by my gread grandmother, as was the tablecloth.

Have not decided what to do with the yellow walls yet, but I got rid of the lace curtains... fast!

Still a lot of stuff thats needs to be thrown out, but first things first....

Gotta have a basic plan of the end result!

The view

The two windows closest to the camera are the "livingroom" where the fireplace is, the indow in the middle belongs to the kitchen and the door and the last window leads to the veranda.

Don't look to close though, It really needs new paint, sooooon!
